What a great photo book, just filled with facts and photos. This is the 2nd Revised Expanded Edition, very nicely done. The Book has about 225 pages, every page has a photo or pictures, Greatest Area the Chapters on the The Golden Age of the Slasher 1978- 1984. Must have Book for the Horror Fan. So Amazing the Movies That are Listed in the Book yet I did not see. Fact Fill Book. Very Nice
It has great full color pictures and it covers a very wide range from the beginnings of horror films to the much newer breed. It uses a great number of official posters from other countries, so it is very interesting to see the other art used.The only complaint I have, is that sometimes the color combination of background color to font color is glaring and hard to read for a few pages.

I great book. Read it all the way through at once. A must for slasher fans, or horror movie fans in general. The love of the sub-genre really shows in the writing. My only regret was not buying the first printing when I had the chance.

Detailed and informative. I thought I was quite knowledgeable when it came to the slasher genre but I've learned quite a few things about it from this excellent book. I believe slasher movie fans will probably get the most out of this book but horror fans in general may find some interest also.
